I'm looking forward to a quiet weekend. A few of us have organized a darts tournament and I'm playing with the army team. I also have some letter writing to do. Believe or not I am very lazy in that area. I keep delaying it.
We had a visit from Major Hawkins and Captain Franklin of the Parachute unit. They needed our help with permits for a suitable drop-zone and procurement of repair parts/fuel for the aircraft. Bureaucracy everywhere but nothing that a few phone calls couldn't fix. It was their first visit here and were surprised at how large we are. We took them to lunch at 'our' hotel. Nice chaps.
