We are back after our lightning marriage and a few surprises. At RAF Duxford Edward was a bit irate. He'd being trying to contact me since lunchtime but nobody knew where I was. "What's so important?" I asked. "It's a waste of time flying to Scotland because..." "...we have to be registered there for 3 weeks before we can marry." I finished. "That's why we are not flying to Scotland." "You knew?" "We wanted to get married before I went to Africa. That's when we found out. Instead we registered here in Saffron Walden. Our bans had been on the notice board for over three weeks when I returned home last week. You have your Dress uniform?" He nodded. "So let's go to the Registry Office so that Sally and I can finally get married. Then we drive to Cromer for the weekend." Edward and I had the opportunity to show off our pretty uniforms. The registrar took photos then we had a quiet weekend at the seaside.
