The Ju-87 V1 absolved its maiden flight at Kleutsch, near Dresden. It was powered by a Junkers Jumo 210 rated at 600 hp. The flight report, by Hauptmann Willy Neuenhofen, stated the only problem was with the small radiator, which caused the power plant to overheat.
