On 10 September 1935 the existing Superior Alpini Commands were re-designated Alpine Divisions
1st Alpine Division "Taurinense" being formed from the 3rd and 4th Alpine Regiments in Turin and Aosta 2 battalions of infantry and 2 artillery batteries are attached to the 5th Alpine Division "Pusteria" in Eritrea
2nd Alpine Division "Tridentina" being formed from the 5th and 6th Alpine Regiments in Bressanone
3rd Alpine Division "Julia" being formed from the 8th and 9th Alpine Regiments in Udine
4th Comando Supremo Alpino being formed from the 1st and 2nd Alpine Regiments in Cuneo. Not yet designated a division.
These are brigade-sized depot units which historically were not mobilized as divisions until 1939. I have no idea how large they are in 1935 but presumably reserves can be called to arms.
2nd Infantry Division "Sforza" in Novara (50km NE of Turin)
VI Infantry Brigade "Legnano" in Cuneo
9th Infantry Division "Pasubio" in Verona
10th Infantry Division "Piave" in Padua
X Infantry Brigade in Venice
11th Infantry Division "Brennero" in Bolzano
XIII Infantry Brigade in Conegliano, (30km N of Venice)
17th Infantry Division "Pavia" in Ravenna
26th Infantry Division "Assietta" in Asti being sent to Libya
There are also artillery 'regiments' of unknown quality on the frontiers.
Each town, in theory, has a CCNN "blackshirt" unit of questionable quality, many of which are already assigned to existing Royal Army brigades.
