All of the infantry from 152nd and 153rd Brigades have embarked. The heavy equipment is still being loaded to several freighters. They will be leaving port after dark.
A battalion-sized battle group has been sent north of Karora on the Eritrean border. It consists of a company from both the 1st Fife and Forfar Yeomanry and 1st Lothians and Border Horse plus a company of the Sudan Defence Force. Detachments from the Signals Regiment and the 26th Field Company, Royal Engineers complete the force. A flight of Hawker Harts from the 33rd RAF Squadron will provide close support.
