West of Buq Buq the 219th CCNN Legion "Caio Mario" was subjected to heavy before being assaulted by 13th Infantry Brigade supported by 6th Bn, Royal Tank Corps. The naval gunfire was then switched to the 198th CCNN Legion "Maremmana" which was assaulted from the north and east after the 219th Legion had retreated from the battlefield. The 198th Legion also withdrew but not after receiving heavy losses. The 196th CCNN Legion at Fort Capuzzo has been under continuous air attack, the 190th CCNN Legion in Tobruk, too. The 7th CCNN Division "Cirene" is no longer able to threaten the Suez Canal. The 15th Infantry Brigade, supported by 1st Bn, Royal Tank Corps advanced westwards to threaten the 196th Legion.
At Siwa the 271st CCNN Legion "Vespri" and the 352nd CCNN Legion "Acciaiata" attacked the British positions several times but the 17th Infantry Brigade held the line.
