In the north the 27th Alpine Division is advancing slowly towards Ivrea. It has considerable air support and two extra regiments of heavy artillery. The 32nd Infantry Division will arrive at the front before dusk.
West of Torino the 28th Alpine Division is attacking towards Rivoli but only manages to advance a couple of kilometres during the day. The 30th Alpine Division is beginning to arrive on the 28th's southern flank. It has been met by the 3rd Alpini Regiment of the Italian 1st Alpini Division.
South of Torino the 29th and 31st Alpine Divisions are heading northeast towards Fossano which is being desperately being defended by the remnants of the 4th Alpini Division. On its right flank the 1st Motorized Division has made considerable advances but it is now encountering increasing resistance from the Italian 26th Infantry Division arriving from Asti. On the coast the Italian 17th Infantry Division "Pavia" is arriving and is probing the defences of the 25th Motorized Division in and northwest of Savona.
