The situation in the northwest appears to be stabilized with the arrival of five divisions SE of Torino and north of Savona. A counter-attack by the 2nd and 3rd Alpini Divisions against the French 25th Motorized Division is planned for tomorrow morning. The III Army Corps, being formed with 9th, 10th and 11th Infantry Divisions in the area from Bra to Alba, will attack southwards in the gap between the French 1st Motorized Division and 31st Alpine Division.
The 7th CCNN Division has been defeated in Egypt and is being pushed back into Libya. The enemy air and naval supremacy is overwhelming. In the west Tripoli is also threatened. The only encouraging news in Africa is from General de Bono's forces in Eritrea. The Abyssinians are being held at bay by the newly formed IV Army Corps and a counter-offensive to retake Massawa is being planned. The air forces are being regrouped in order to attack the Royal Navy in the Red Sea. The situation in Somalia is unclear the British advance appears to have been stopped.
