During the last two months the Yugoslavian army had been reorganized. The earlier divisions were huge and difficult to manage. In northern Croatia there are now two Army Corps: - I Army Corps - east of Rijeka
17th Vrbaska Infantry Division 22nd Ibarska Infantry Division 1st Konjica Division (Cavalry) - II Army Corps - around Lubljana
13th Hercegovacka Infantry Division 20th Bregalnicka Infantry Division 2nd Konjica Division (Cavalry)
They are supported by 4 squadrons of licence-built Potez 25 aircraft and the British Fleet in the northern Adriatic Sea.
Further reserves are being mobilized.
I Army Corps is to enter Fiume, (Rijeka), then 1st Konjica Division is to advance towards Pola on the flank of the main thrust to Trieste from the southeast. The main axis of advance of II Army Corps is also Trieste with the 2nd Konjica Division heading west to Idrija on the northern flank.
