The advance to Tripoli continues with the 2nd North African Division attacking along the coastal roads and the French 1st Colonial Division on its flank a few kilometres south. They are encountering little organized resistance. The town of Az-Zawiyah is taken before dusk while further south the 71st and 92nd Recon Battalions are approaching Al-Azaziyah, south of Tripoli.
