The final results haven't been released yet but Stanley Baldwin and the Conservative Party have easily won the General Election. There will probably be a small cabinet shuffle but nothing will change in the major resorts. The cabinet is scheduled to meet at 10:00 so I will get there 30 minutes earlier. Sally and I have arranged to visit my father at Kenwood House this evening so we can discuss my upcoming trip to Iran next month. I'll be going to the Army and Navy Club afterwards to meet John Gort and Duff Cooper. Got to go. Sally will drive me to the entrance of Downing Street and I'll walk the remaining 100 yards.
