The British Foreign Secretary Anthony Eden has arrived in Addis Ababa and will meet his counterpart then hold talks with Emperor Haile Selassie I afterwards. The Italian military build-up as well as arbitration talks at the League of Nations are top of the agenda. The Foreign Secretary was in Cairo and Khartoum before arriving here and has a delegation from the Ministry of Defence with him. Mr. Eden has promised Haile Selassie that Britain will support Abyssinia in order to preserve peace in East Africa.
